Hola Harvey, once I had a cousin of yours, bigger and sturdier. Her name was Filomena. I had to take her to a refuge for desert turtles, and I never forgot her seemingly calm demeanor, although she could get pretty mad when I changed her routine. Once I decided to give her a bath in the kitchen sink, and I was washing her face when she bit my finger, I mean bite and not let go. With her hanging from my finger and screaming I called the pet store. A calm turtle specialist told me “just do not move your hand, place it down and she will release it”. She did. She taught me about freedom and survival. She had gone for a discovery walk on human highways when my car almost run over her. She was so loved that my granddaughter Akilah composed a song for her that I recorded. Anyway, did you answer my question about my warm and soft and then cold and hard bread? Does it upset you to have your face washed?
